“Back to One” is the starting point where we begin and have to return to many times over and over again before we can get it done right or “Wrap it up”. This is duly reflected in my writing which reflects upon my experiences working as a background actor on movies and television. The concept of “Back to One” is also applied to my writing/opinion of celebrities who clearly do not only need to go “Back to one”, some of them should go “back to the watering cesspool” they crawled out of. “Back to one” also caters to everyday life how we wake up each morning, do the same thing over and over again. We go through hellish days at our regular job. We hate our job. We want to quit. We want to scream. We even go as far to see how we can get ourselves fired! The best is when you sit in your cubicle and start envisioning the perfect plot how to do away with your boss or nasty co-worker! The end of the day arrives and it’s time to get home. You didn’t quit. You didn’t get fired. You didn’t kill your boss or spit in your co-workers sandwich! You go home or go to your local establishment for a couple of beers, surrounded by friends the days miseries slowly diminish. You go to bed and crash. The alarm goes off. You hit the snooze button a million times. You drag yourself out of bed, get dressed, get to the subway, and get to work. It’s “Back to One!” Back to where you started, again!
