Republican Hills, 90210 Uh Oh

I admit that I did watch the re-launch of 90210. I will reluctantly admit to the fact that I watched this show in the 90's religiously and know all the characters first and last names. My report is that the "Mama-Drama" with Palin's Pregnant daughter was more entertaining than last nights premiere of this re-make which was clearly bad choice and proves yet again that there is no creativity in Hollywood anymore.

In fact I watched Leno last night (normally I'm a Letterman fan)and he had the best joke. He said "If Obama has been called "Briitney Spears, than Mc Cain's Team is "Jamie Lynn Spears". I guess we won't have to worry about "Who's the Daddy" in the Teen Palin's pregnancy.

Though maybe Palin's daughter would be a great guest on the Maury Povich show. Probably she will end up on Oprah. They all do. Palin's reputation and experience is already questionable, so how much more damage can be done?

The irony of this is that it's actually making her more popular and at least people are getting to know who she is if indeed Mc Cain does get elected, croaks, and she becomes President. Scary thought. Then again it seems that the Brittany Spears, Amy Winehouse, and Lindsay Lohans seems to dominate the media and front page of the NY post. At least this "political scandal" gives Linsday a well needed break.

As for 90210, the re-make, I really hope it falters. First of all they have 26 year olds playing sixteen and the best part is that the bitchy character Brenda, played by Shannen Dougherty is back on with her pal Kelly Taylor, played by Jennie Garth. These girls are poster children for botox! It's exactly like of the one in 90's where a family comes from a small town in Minnesota to live in the big lifestyle of Beverly Hills. The only difference now is that this family is from Kansas.

Seems that many shows are coming back and being re-vamped. It's actually sad that Hollywood can't come up with anything new. It's like 10 years later and there really is no change. It's the same pile of crap, just re-done in HD.

Let's hope and pray that in the political arena, there will be significant change this time. Even though the "Zipcode" will remain the same, a brand new set of characters and script must be written this time around.

HOP OBAMA...Drinking for Change

A historic event took place with Senator Obama and his acceptance speech. It's exciting to see the changes happening in political history. First ever nominated African American for presidency is amazing!

What also is amazing is "HOP OBAMA". by Six point Craft ales. This beer is inspired by Senator Obama's run for the presidency. It's a new, limited edition, beer on tap which is brewed in Brooklyn. According to the Sixpoints company, all Sixpoint Craft Ales are unpasteurized and unfiltered and brewed in small, 15-barrel batches using predominantly domestic hops, European malts, a special house yeast, and 100% New York City tap water.

Ah yes New York City Tap water. Doesn't that make it special??I just read in the paper that some marekting guy from Ohio is selling NYC tap water for $1.50/bottle? You got to be kidding. Now Tap water with above 5% alcohol is the way to go! If I'm paying premium prices, I want a buzz.

Here is a Big Cheers to Micro Breweries! Though good drinking and celebrating is something that has been popular throughout the ages.

For Instance as Ben Franklin said: "In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria."

It has been scientifically proven that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop. (that's over 2 pounds).

In studies shown it proves that we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop, Beer/ Hop Obama= Health

Therefore, it's better to drink beer and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of shit.

This is history in the making itself. I have never heard of a beer named after a president or political figure. I think it's pretty cool to have a beer inspired by you and if he does become president I know many of us, including myself, will be...

Smoking Mama!

So what do we call this train wreck now?? Smoking trailer park? She is really the smoking Mama! Yes, that’s right Brittany Spears was captured smoking a pack of Marlboros in her backyard.

There is nothing wrong with that. It’s not like she was smoking pot or crack to our knowledge from the photo.

Though when the picture captures one of her sons playing with a lighter and imitating “Mommy Brittany”, playing with a lighter and pack of cigarettes, it poses a problem.

Good to see that she spends quality time with her son. Monkey see, Money do! Glad to see that she is putting her parenting skills to good use. Sure teach your kids when they are young to smoke a cigarette; it will only lead to a great future in the trailer park community.

Poor Brittany, why won’t anyone just leave her alone! Poor Brittany why can’t see just get her act together. Poor Brittany why can’t she just put a nicotine patch on her son!

As the saying goes: Once trailer park trash, always trailer park trash. Has she ever even left the trailer?
