How many times have you heard that? Well for those of you who have no kids, it's absolutely true. Every day that I am with my boy is a day in which I either become a better person or go bald pulling my hair out.<br /> The first few months of no sleep, no time to your self and constant mental assault was just basic training. By the time he was crawling, I thought I had it down and it was gonna be some easy sailing. Terrible twos? nah not with my kid, I thought. Sure enough however, as if right on cue, my kid became... well a monster. That is comparatively speaking of course, as my kid is a saint when side by side with the other monsters out there.<br /> Well, now my kid is passed three years old and he is the most helpful and polite kid I could ever hope for. NOW I'm scared. I watch all the other little monsters running around the playground and I think about my kid going to school in a few short years, becoming friends with the other little street urchins and bringing all that... kid stuff back home to me. I remember my own follies as a child and want to call it off sometimes. If he is even half the nightmare I was then I am absolutely FUCKED!<br /> &quot;Oh, it will get better&quot; they say. Well THEY sure do talk an awful lot. I say, yeah, it WILL get better... then it will get worse. Then it will get better, and worse again.
