"Single Ladies" give it up for Beyonce!

"Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" is an upbeat dance anthem that's basically the polar opposite of the more restrained, melancholy "If I Were A Boy."

She may no longer be one of them — single, that is — but the Jay-Z-hitched superstar still knows how to kick out the pop jams on this sing-along, one of two early offerings from her as-yet-untitled November album. Beyoncé co-wrote and co-produced the Single Ladies with Christopher ''Tricky'' Stewart and Terius ''The-Dream'' Nash (the duo behind Rihanna's ''Umbrella'').

On "Single Ladies," Beyonce reminds all the women out there that if their man hasn't made a serious commitment to the relationship, then he can't get mad if she wants to do her own thing: "If you liked it, then you shoulda put a ring on it."

"I have worked on this album for close to one year," Beyoncé wrote on her MySpace page in a message addressed to her fans.

"It is the most time I have spent on any project since my first records as a member of Destiny's Child when I was 15 years old. I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now and I wanted people to see the many sides of me."

The video shows Beyonce dancing with two women wearing high heels and short black sexy gowns which show off their long leg figures in front of a white background for three minutes. Now, it might sound like at first that they only had a day and $5000 dollar to shoot the video, however despite of the mixed reviews, I have to say that I was quite impressed with Beyonce's moves and the effort she made to create a true dance video.

The as-yet-untitled new album is due out Nov. 18 and preceded by two singles, "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies." Beyoncé will perform one of the tracks at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, England on Nov. 6.

Beyoncé will also back up her new material on tour in 2009, with international dates lined up for next spring and a North American tour scheduled for the early summer.

The album is the singer's follow-up to 2006's Grammy-winning "B'Day."
