Ink

Writing is a part of everyone's daily life and it becomes routine when you think about it. Even if you are not a writer, you are jotting down something. Be it a grocery list or a phone number. Now since the age of computers, no one is using paper to write letters. These days it's just a screen, a keyboard, and your fingers. So, what's missing? A pen. During the 16th, 17th and 18th century people used felt tip feathered pens, dipped the stencil in the ink, and wrote in a manner that was beautiful to the eyes.

They might have even written love letters to their special someone. A few might have been in secret. We receive mail everyday, but how often is it that we receive a written invitation to go out on a date? There aren't any special notes or letters through the mail or back then by carriage to delivery such wonderful pieces of mail. In this day and time people meet each other in passing, talk and exchange phone numbers. Then by phone set a date or a "meeting." If a person desires to show true romance and make a good first impression, after meeting send a note. . .hmmm hold up! Forgot something. What if no address was given? This would be an excuse to call back and get the address. But just in case cards were given out, it's likely that the address is on the card.

Wait a day or two before doing anything even calling. And surprise the person that you have met with a written invitation to join you for dinner. When, where and attire. The person that receives this invitation will think this is quite odd, but sweet and something new. This will make the evening more interesting. It will end up to be more of a scavenger hunt if you take that route. Set it up with restaurant you will be dinning, to place little notes and what knots at your reserved table. Then take a look at the expression on your date's face as you walk her to that reserve setting. This is just first time of the night of a second meeting so the third time around, you might have the freedom to leave more special notes for that person you are interested in.

Invest your time wisely

Never giving up on what you

know.
