Burn Out

Just like your favorite foods that you eat every other day and the taste of your favorite drink you drink constantly, a person can get burned out on any little thing they love. Dating is the same way when a person is looking for something that is hard to find. What if every date was the same? Yes, that would be boring wouldn't it.

As I have mentioned before, do something to spice up the date. Instead of going to dinner and a movie, why not take a drive to see the countryside? Or for a walk in the park? These are included in the "no money to spend" policy. And you might just be tired of dating for a while. If so, then it was also mentioned that you should take time out for yourself if you desire to not date for a while. Searching for a date or true love is like searching for a job. You are pounding the payment possibly every other day (in this case-dating) and night. The singles area in the newspaper or even online which does take up much time in filling out the form needed to make a match.

Once several matches are made, you must pick and choose whom you like or think you would be compatible with. That becomes a drag most of the time and you have to stop and take a breather just to collect your thoughts and start over. Same with a job. With so much going, you do get burned out on just looking.

(1) Step back and take a look at your prospects

(2) Find what looks good or sounds decent

(3) Take a chance

(4) Enjoy your time with that prospect

(5) Your time alone is precious; enjoy you

(6) Read a good book

(7) Do things with yourself

(8) Cook

(9) Take up a class

(10) Remain busy

The bottom line to not being burned out on dating is to always spend time for yourself to reflect on what it really is that you desire in that potential person while dating. Fanning the flames before they turn into ashes, don't strike the match until you are ready to stand the heat.
