I met Jaime at Lollapalooza when I was 14. She was sitting under a tree with another girl. She seemed so cool. I just bought some incense and I offered her a hairwrap. She said "What's that?" and I explained and she declined and we parted ways and she took the incense that I left behind home with her.

A year later we went to the same art school. She was the coolest girl is school with long black hair she skateboarded and sold acid. We ate blue micro dots at lunch hour. I knew she was older than me because she crushed hers up like a pro and it was all so new to me.

That was just around the time that the RAVE phenomena began and we became ravers. We would make our own outfits and platform shoes only Jaime knew how to sew and I didn't so she always got it right and even though we both rolled with the cool crew I was usually the butt of the joke. They thought I was a leprechaun. What's so bad about that right? I guess leprechauns weren't "cool"..but when push came to shove I was the one they would come to for salvation from a bad trip. I kept on the sunnyside, still do. We don't eat acid anymore. Jaime would shudder at the idea and make a barf motion if I mentioned "RAVE" even though both were pivotal turning points in our lives that though if continued would be hazardous to the power of nine but turned out to be extremely educational experiences. I guess that last sentence was a run on.
